No. All of Studio is free, and it doesn't get worse without Pro: the whole editor, 4K export with no watermark and the AI tools. Projects save to your account either way. Without Pro, a project's video files stay in the browser you added them in, so opening it elsewhere asks you to choose them again.
It keeps your screen recordings and your Studio projects' files in your account, 100 GB in all. Each recording gets a link to share, and a Studio project opens with its files on another computer, or after you clear your browser.
Sign in to the screen recorder with Pro, and each recording goes to your account while you record. When you stop, its link is copied, ready to paste. Anyone with the link watches in their browser, or only people with a password, or only you. Viewers can comment and react at moments in it, and you see who watched.
Your recordings and files stay in your account for 90 days after Pro ends: links keep working and projects still open with their files. We email you before they're deleted. Get Pro again in that time and they stay. Your projects, and the recordings on your computer, stay either way.
